Transfer a Call

If you are using the school's phone system and need to transfer an active call to another extension do the following:
  1. Press the Trans/Conf button
  2. Dial the extension of the third party
    • Note: At this point you can stay on the line to wait for an answer to consult with the third party before the transfer or just transfer the call
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Hang up the receiver or press the Release button
      • This will complete the transfer
    • Press the Cancel button
      • This will stop the transfer and return the caller back to you
      • Note:  If you hang up at this point you will disconnect the caller
  4. Your transfer is now complete
